Insurance Plans

We accept most major Medical Insurances including:

Vision Insurances include:

(For State Employees ONLY)

Not covered by any of these plans? Contact us and we will find the best solution to suit you.

Vision care plans cover routine vision exams along with eyeglasses and contact lenses and a basic screening for eye disease. They do not cover diagnosis, management, or treatment of eye diseases. If you have a medical problem, your vision plan will not cover the visit. Your medical insurance will be billed.

Medical insurance must be used if you have eye health problems or a systemic health problem that has ocular complications and requires follow-up care. Your doctor will review your case history to determine if these conditions apply to you.

We will apply for pre-authorization from your insurance company. If we are a participating provider, we will bill your insurance plan for our services.

If you have both types of Health Insurance:

There are two types of health insurance that will help pay for your eye care services and products. You may have both, and our practice accepts both:

  • Vision Care Plans (such as Davis Vision and Spectera)

  • Medical Insurance (such as Medicare and Blue Cross / Blue Shield)

What’s the Difference?

For medical insurance and vision care plans, it may be necessary for us to bill some services to one plan and other services to the other plan, according to the contract. In these cases, we will provide coordination of benefits to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.

Lastly, we will bill you for any unpaid deductibles, copays, non-covered services, or fees your plan does not cover.
